Hello Malcom,
Once again we'd like to thank all of our customers
for your continued support of your local Fusion leisure centre in
and around Charnwood. We're proud to have provided community
facilities and services over the past 14 years that have
supported your health and well-being.
As per our previous communication, the running of
the centres in Charnwood will pass to a new operator from the 1st
July 2026. Here is everything you need to know to ensure a smooth
transition.
Your new operator is Serco Leisure in partnership
with Leisure Solutions Community Trust
This means there will be some changes taking place
and the management of the centres in Charnwood will transfer to
Serco Leisure and Leisure Solutions Community Trust from
Wednesday 1st July 2026.
What about my data?
Due to this change there will be a transfer of your
customer data and membership details to the new provider.
Your data is important, and as we work to handover
operations, everything will be processed in accordance with Data
Protection regulations.
Your customer information will therefore be passed
to, Serco Leisure and LSCT (“joint controllers”) and they will
become the new data controller. This is to ensure you can
continue to enjoy the activities you want to at your local
leisure centre without any disruption to service.
If you requested a membership cancellation before
the deadline date, this will have been actioned and your data
will not be passed on.
Your membership payments
We will continue to be the provider until 30th June
2026 and will continue to collect your regular payments during
this period.
Serco Leisure is working closely with us to ensure
your Direct Debit is transferred over without any issue. To ease
the transition for all customers, your membership and all of your
membership details and banking details (if applicable) will be
securely transferred to the new operator and your membership will
continue as normal.
